My Story.
Just enjoying being human with other humans.

And I'm all about the following:
- Fostering thriving interpersonal relationships
- Understanding the human psyche and the complexities of being human
 - Cognitively connecting people, ideas, and experiences to paint a holistic picture while appreciating the details
 - Meeting people where they are with empathy and kindness
- Solving problems in ways that empower and are sustainable and scalable
- Breaking down complex or nuanced information into simple, yet compelling stories
- Cherishing my relationships and family
- The good 'ole outdoors
- Reading, writing, learning new skills, and trying new things
- Mentorship and coaching

My Process.
Understand. Design. Validate. Iterate.
An ever-changing process that is always shifting and improving as needed.
1. Understand.
This is the crux of what we do as UXers, right?
All of my work is rooted in sound and holistic research that helps me understand the users, but also the whole. It's important to understand and bridge the gaps between people, systems, and experiences. My methods range from user research to data analytics and sometimes more! Doesn't hurt to try new ways to uncover insights, am I right? :)
2. Design.
Ah, one of my favorite parts.
When we understand user problems and business needs, there's always that itch to design a solid and fitting solution. In my process, though, I don't limit myself to just interfaces. I've expanded my scope to include designing a myriad of experiences outside of technology - like processes. When working with interfaces, though, I'm an avid user of robust design systems and Figma.
3. Validate.
Are we on the right track?
User testing and evaluative research are key steps I take to ensure that what's designed adequately covers the bases and quick changes can be made for minimizing risks and increasing efficiency.
4. Analyze & Iterate.
A product is never finished.
Establishing the right metrics to collect quality data is important to understand the performance of a solution and how we can continue to improve. Not only with users but ensuring all the necessary business goals are met, too.

Some neat things my peers have said to/about me:

"I'm not sure what we were doing before you joined our team. You've done all these things [UX, strategy, and process] that I didn't even know we were missing. Things are just... better." - Sr. Engineer

"The team talks about you all the time, and how you've really made great changes to the way we plan, design, and build products. It's just smoother and more collaborative." - Staff Data Engineer

"You're very talented. That's why so many people come to you to help solve problems and value your insight." - UX Manager

"You've gone beyond to solve problems that affect the entire team and took the initiative to look into these problems and uncover insights to provide opportunities for us to improve. That's what leadership is all about. Amazing." - Head of Build
